The 'Ilios kai Petra' is now one of the most reputable cultural institutions in the region of Eastern Macedonia and Thrace and the only International Folklore Institution in northeastern Greece, who bears the stamp of CIOFF (Federation of International Folk Festival). In CIOFF are covered thousands of cultural organizations from around the world, the very CIOFF belongs administratively to UNESCO. The public has the opportunity to enjoy a wonderful spectacle full of sounds and colors, dance, music, traditional cuisine, customs and traditions, unusual for the Greek.
